HIGH TEMPERATURE ATTACHMENTS

STOE HT1

The STOE STADI P and STADI MP are the ideal equipment for the observation and evaluation of phase transitions in non-ambient environments. Therefore STOE has developed the capillary furnace series for powder investigations at high temperatures:

  • The basic version from RT to 1223 K (950 °C)
  • The extended T version from RT to 1773 K (1500 °C)
  • The furnace with low temperature option for a range from 223 K (–50 °C) to 1223 K (950 °C)
  • 130° exit window

Every STOE furnace is delivered with a temperature controller containing power supply, flow meter for cooling water control and interface to the PC. All three versions provide sample spinning to avoid effects from preferred orientation and offer a temperature stability better than ± 1 K in the whole range. The temperature programs are easily set-up and executed and the STOE furnaces can be mounted on every vertical transmission diffractometer. Heating elements are available for capillaries with diameters from 0.2 to 1.0 mm.

AVAILABLE FOR: STADI P / MP

STOE INSITU HT2

The new STOE INSITU HT2 high temperature reaction chamber has been designed to study solid state and solid state – gas reactions in capillaries in a temperature range between RT and 1823 K (1550 °C) with the possibility of using extremely small sample volumina and gas flows. To reduce effects of preferred orientation the furnace offers sample oscillation and it fits on every vertically mounted STOE transmission diffractometer.

  • Temperature range from RT to 1823 K (1550°C)
  • Gas flow between 0.01 and 0.1 l/min
  • Sample volume from 5 to 20 mm3
  • For Mo or Ag Kα1-radiation
  • Sapphire or glass capillaries
  • 130° exit window

AVAILABLE FOR: STADI P / MP

THIRD PARTY NON-AMBIENT SAMPLE STAGES

In addition to our own systems we regularly install third party non-ambient environments. For example high temperature chambers in reflection geometry by Anton Paar or cooling devices by Oxford Cryosystems. If you are interested in another non-ambient sample stage, we are open to implementing it in our machines.
